Ambient musician Baths is back after an eight-year hiatus with a new album titled Gut. Written "from the stomach," Will Wiesenfeld, the man behind Baths, describes this album as his most direct work yet, fearlessly exploring the theme of sex.
With a blend of intense desire and a haunting sense of despair, Gut includes tracks like "Sea of Men" and "Eden," which were released earlier this year as a sneak peek. The album’s lead single, "Governed," is a synth-heavy track filled with raw emotion. Lyrics such as I will die waiting / I will die governed resonate deeply with many in the queer community, reflecting their ongoing struggles.

Alongside the album release, Baths has announced a tour starting on March 6 in San Diego. This journey will take him across the U.S. and Canada, eventually reaching the UK and other parts of Europe. Exciting times ahead for fans!
