Midlands-based singer-songwriter Dom Malin has just dropped a new single, “Tapping Out.” This track is raw, introspective, and dives deep into themes of perseverance, regret, and self-discovery. Reflecting on his own struggles, Malin says, “This song is a personal journey through the emotional trek of running from the past while carrying the weight of failure. It’s about confronting the loneliness, regret, and the ache of unfulfilled expectations. For me, this reflects both personal and professional struggles—failed relationships, and trying to rebuild a life through music, chasing a dream that sometimes feels out of reach.”
The song kicks off with intimate guitar and piano, gradually layering in percussion and lead guitar. It all wraps up in a stripped-back, vulnerable moment of acceptance. With this release, Malin is marking another milestone, including a headline show at El Sótano in Madrid on March 29, 2025.
